Mac n Cheese Recipe made with Just Jane Mature Cheddar
80g Plain Flour
600mls Chicken stock
1 Red onion
2 tbs Breadcrumbs
200g Just Jane Mature or Hot n Spicy Grated, depending on taste
Cook the Macaroni for 8-10 minutes or to the packet’s instructions
Soften the onion in the butter and then add the flour to make a roux
Add the Chicken stock gradually, stirring all the time to ensure a smooth sauce.
Add the grated cheese putting 2 tbs aside for the topping and season to taste
Mix in the Macaroni and place in an ovenproof dish, sprinkle over the breadcrumbs and 2 tbs cheese.
Grill until brown and bubbling.
