These bite-sized Grantham Gingerbread biscuits known as ‘white gingerbread’ are absolutely delicious. So-called because they are not made with treacle as a lot of gingerbread is. The result is a biscuit with a very light, almost pale characteristic and a very delicate, butter and vanilla taste, and a tingle from the most unusual honeycomb center. The flavour of ginger is very subtle and the heat from it gently warms the tongue. A lovely Little addition for coffee with friends. Love ginger?
